You won’t believe it but I am on the shortlist for the public vote for Standard Chartered Weather Photographer of the Year 2024. I can’t believe it. Under all the images I submitted they picked the one taken with my smartphone. Well the picture is pretty unique, as it was the first time in my life that I saw a rainbow like this.
To see a circular rainbow you have to be at the right time at the right place and I was just lucky enough when the plane I was on was on final for Seattle-Tacoma International Airport just after a rain shower swept through the place.
If you wouldn’t mind, please vote for me!
- Go to the contest website and click on my image.
- Confirm the captcha
- and then click on Vote.
- Voting ends on October 17, 2024
It is super easy and quick. No registration is required. I would love if you would vote for my picture but you can vote for any picture you like but you only have one vote.
My picture is competing against 24 other amazing pictures from very talented photographers. I never would have thought that I would make it on the shortlist of this competition for the Weather Photographer of the Year.
I am curious, have you seen a circular rainbow like this before? If so, let me know in the comments please!
